Viciunai Group is expanding its trading partner network with the launch of VICI product exports to Peru

This summer, Viciunai Group is expanding its VICI outlet map by actively exporting its products to South America.

The company recently started selling the VICI brand in Ecuador, and soon our products will be available to the people of Peru.

Viciunai Group’s sales company in Spain, VG Iberia has established a partnership with Umi Foods, the largest distributor of frozen seafood in Peru. With the help of this distributor, we will begin selling dumplings, crepes, pizza toppings, and pizzas throughout the country.

Throughout the process of negotiating with the product supplier in Peru, one of Umi Foods’ main requirements was for us to provide products that are rich in iron and B vitamins. This is because, according to the United Nations World Food Programme, 22% of Peruvians live below the poverty line and do not consume enough of the nutrients they need in their food. The remaining share of the population is also constantly faced with a lack of certain substances in their bodies. For this reason, the state is making great efforts to enrich the products available in stores with useful substances and vitamins. Therefore, Viciunai Group has improved the recipes for the products it will supply to the Peruvian market by adding necessary ingredients to the dough. The new crepes, pizzas, and pizza crusts will be produced by the Estonian factory Paljassaare Kalatoostus, while the Orka Foods factory in Plunge will produce the dumplings.

These products are intended to be traded in the retail, hotel, restaurant, and café sectors. By now, the products will have already reached Peru and will soon be seen on the supermarket shelves.

The company has plans to further expand its network of outlets in South America in the future, where partners are now being sought in Brazil and the Dominican Republic.
