VIČI Protein Surimi Noodles win a "SIAL Innovation 2026" award
We have some great news – VIČI Protein Surimi Noodles have won the Seafood Products Award at the prestigious "SIAL Innovation 2026" competition!
This international recognition once again confirms Vičiūnai Group’s ability to develop innovative products that meet the needs of modern consumers and stand out in the global food market.
Surimi-based noodles
VIČI Protein Surimi Noodles offer a new take on the familiar surimi product. Their shape and preparation method resemble traditional noodles, but they stand out due to their composition and high protein content. Depending on the product variety, each pack contains either 28 or 34 grams of protein.
The noodles are also enriched with marine collagen and omega-3 fatty acids. They can be prepared in just a few minutes – simply heat and serve. The product was developed for consumers looking for a quick, satisfying and protein-rich meal.
The range also includes a version of VIČI Protein Surimi Noodles with shrimp, combining surimi noodles with succulent shrimp. Both products reflect current food consumption trends, where not only taste and convenience but also nutritional value play an important role.
The product will be showcased at SIAL Paris 2026
The award-winning product will be showcased in the central SIAL Innovation area during SIAL Paris 2026, one of the world’s largest food industry exhibitions.
VIČI Protein Surimi Noodles are also in the running for the competition’s top Gold, Silver or Bronze Awards. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in Paris on 17 October.
