Viciunai Group participates in "Foodex Japan 2026": showcases latest product trends for the Asian market

The 51st international food and beverage exhibition, held in Tokyo, became one of the most important events of the year for the global food industry, with Viciunai Group among its participants.

Strategic focus on the Asian market

The Viciunai Group participated in the "Foodex Japan 2026" exhibition with the aim of strengthening its position in the Asian market, where demand for high-quality fish and seafood products is rapidly growing. At a 18.6 sq. m stand in Tokyo, the team presented a wide product range tailored for both the retail segment and the HoReCa sector.

At the exhibition, Viciunai Group showcased its core products, reflecting a broad and diverse portfolio. Visitors had the opportunity to explore surimi products, as well as high-quality mackerel and herring products, and salmon-based items.

In addition, Asian cuisine-inspired products were introduced, including the well-known VIČI “Gyoza.” The exhibition also featured a broader selection from the company’s portfolio – from fish fillets, surimi snacks, and seafood to dessert products such as frozen pancakes.

Sustainability – an important part of the product portfolio

A significant share of the products presented by Viciunai Group at the exhibition are certified with MSC and ASC labels, confirming that the raw materials are sourced from responsibly managed fisheries or aquaculture farms. Such solutions are becoming increasingly important for both international retail chains and conscious consumers.

One of the most important food industry exhibitions in the world

Foodex Japan 2026 has been regarded for more than five decades as one of the largest and most influential food industry exhibitions in Asia. Each year, it brings together nearly 3,000 food and beverage companies from more than 70 countries and regions, turning Tokyo into a key hub of global food trade.

The exhibition is not only a platform for presenting new products. It is a place where strategic partnerships are formed, international contracts are signed, and long-term business relationships are established on a global scale. Participation in this exhibition marks an important step for Viciunai Group in expanding its export activities and strengthening its position in the Asian market.
