“Vičiūnai ir partneriai” has received a Halal certificate from UAB “World Halal Trust”
International certification company UAB “World Halal Trust” has issued a Halal certificate to one of the Vičiūnai Group factories.
Halal certification confirms that product manufacturing, raw material selection, production processes, hygiene control, and the supply chain comply with Halal standards. Possessing this certificate will enable Vičiūnai Group companies to export their products to Muslim markets and ensures consumer trust across various countries worldwide.
UAB “World Halal Trust” provides Halal certification services to food manufacturers, supervises their production processes, and verifies product compliance with Halal standards at all stages of production. Certificates issued by the organization are recognized in various regions, including Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
Prior to the certification process, special attention was given to employee preparedness within Vičiūnai Group – specialized training sessions were organized, attended by as many as 44 employees. These trainings helped ensure a proper understanding of Halal requirements and their practical implementation throughout the entire production chain.
Vičiūnai Group companies continuously invest in quality control, production technologies, and compliance with standards to maintain a high level of product safety and reliability. This Halal certification marks another step in strengthening the company’s export potential in the United States and Canada, while ensuring product accessibility for consumers with diverse cultural and religious needs.
In the near future, Halal certificates are planned to be obtained for other Vičiūnai Group factories, further expanding the range of certified products and strengthening the company’s position in international markets.
