With spring comes a season of international exhibition debuts for Viciunai Group
The team of the Viciunai Group participated for the first time in the international food exhibition Tavola 2026, held in Kortrijk, Belgium.
Tavola is a biennial food exhibition exclusively for professionals, focused on high-quality, innovative products. Unlike large-scale mass exhibitions, this platform attracts decision-makers—buyers, distributors, representatives of specialized stores, and HoReCa professionals - thereby offering real opportunities for business development and international partnerships.
Focus on innovation and the premium segment
At the exhibition, Viciunai Group presented a wide range of
products, placing particular emphasis on its key favorites - surimi products,
salmon, and the globally recognized Gyoza. These product categories
attracted the greatest interest from visitors and were seen as aligning with
growing consumer trends in Europe.
During the exhibition, visitors had the opportunity to discover not only well - established and widely recognized products already on the market, but also new solutions focused on convenience, taste, and innovative combinations.
Professional presentation and exclusive tasting
experience
A key highlight at the Viciunai Group stand was the tasting
sessions led by professional chef Alexandre Sorokin. He is a new partner
of the company, previously working at the restaurant Les Frères Louise, which
was awarded a Michelin Guide star for three consecutive years.
The chef presented visitors with exceptional dishes such as salmon tartare, smoked salmon with asparagus in Flemish style, surimi sticks with guacamole and passion fruit sauce, and dill sauce.
The tastings received highly positive feedback - interest came not only from visitors but also from representatives of other stands who had heard strong recommendations throughout the exhibition space.
Recognition in the innovation competition
The Viciunai Group product - Gyoza with pork and
truffle - was submitted to the Gouden Tavola innovation
competition and advanced to the second stage. This achievement secured its
display in the innovation gallery, where it received additional attention from
industry professionals.
Participation in Tavola 2026 strengthened Viciunai Group’s position in the Benelux markets and provided an opportunity to present its products to a targeted audience - the high value-added segment. The exhibition became an important platform both for establishing new business contacts and for increasing brand awareness in the international arena.
